Yes, we will store your luggage free of charge at the reception.
Does the guesthouse have its own parking lot?
Yes, private parking is available directly at the guesthouse for a fee.
Due to limited capacity, please reserve your parking space in advance at penzionkarlstejn@hhotels.cz.
Is it possible to charge an electric car?
The guesthouse does not have a charging station. The nearest charging station is located at the nearby Romantic Hotel Mlýn Karlštejn.
Do you offer transfer from the airport, train station or Prague?
Unfortunately, the guesthouse does not provide transfer from the airport, train station or Prague.
How do I get to the guesthouse by public transport?
From Prague
By train: take the train from "Praha – Smíchov / Praha – Hl. nádraží" to Karlštejn (approx. 30 min). From the station, it is a pleasant walk to the guesthouse.
By bus: unfortunately, bus transportation to Karlštejn is not available.

The guesthouse has comfortable rooms suitable for couples, families, and individuals:

The rooms in the guesthouse are not air-conditioned.

Yes, it is possible to add an extra bed during the booking process on the website.
Are the rooms non-smoking?
Yes, the entire guesthouse is strictly non-smoking.
Is breakfast included in the price?
Yes, a buffet breakfast is included in the price of accommodation.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Do you offer gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan options?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements upon prior arrangement at penzionkarlstejn@hhotels.cz.
Are pets allowed in the guesthouse?
Yes, pets are allowed for a fee. For more information, please contact us at penzionkarlstejn@hhotels.cz.
Is Wi-Fi available in the guesthouse?
Yes, Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and areas of the guesthouse.
Do you have bicycle storage?
A standard storage room is not available but bicycles can be stored in the guesthouse premises by arrangement without guarantee.
Is it possible to rent bicycles?
The guesthouse does not offer bicycles for rent.
Do you offer laundry or drying services?
No, we do not offer this service at the guesthouse.
What payment methods do you accept?

Is a deposit required for reservations?
A credit card is required during the booking process as a guarantee for the reservation. However, no deposit is required and the stay is paid upon arrival at the guesthouse.
What events can be held at Penzion Karlštejn and what facilities do you offer?
The guesthouse is ideal for a small corporate meetings, training sessions, team building events, family celebrations, wedding ceremonies, and receptions.
There is a lounge with a capacity for 25 people, a restaurant, and a summer garden with a stage for up to 80 people.
Do you provide catering and accompanying services?
Yes, we offer banquets, lunches, coffee breaks, barbecues, cakes, decorations, and musical accompaniment.
On request, we can also arrange a program in the surrounding area (Karlštejn Castle, tours, carriage rides, Zoopark, etc.).
How can I book an event?
We recommend making reservations in advance by email at penzionkarlstejn@hhotels.cz or by phone.
We will be happy to prepare a customized offer based on the number of guests and type of event.
Is the guesthouse suitable for families with children?
Yes, we offer:

Yes, we are happy to recommend traditional and modern restaurants in Karlštejn and the surrounding area.
Is the guesthouse wheelchair accessible?
The guesthouse is not wheelchair accessible.
Do you sell gift vouchers for stays?
Yes, you can purchase:

Is smoking prohibited in the guesthouse?
Yes, smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. An outdoor smoking area is available.
